From Daily to Deliberate: The PAICE Blog Moves to Tuesdays and Thursdays

A daily publishing streak measures commitment to the streak, not value to the reader. For a long stretch, the streak was exactly the right thing to measure. Here in Q3, that's not as true anymore, so we're changing it.

Starting this month, the PAICE (People + AI Collaboration Effectiveness) blog moves from a post every weekday to two posts a week: Tuesdays and Thursdays. This post explains what the new rhythm is, what is pausing, and why.

What the daily run was for

When we started posting every day, PAICE was not yet a company. It was an idea being worked out in public, and the daily post was the forcing function: show up, think out loud, ship the thinking. Roughly 170 daily posts later, that run did what it was supposed to do. It built a body of work, persistently over time. Now there's a strong corpus that gets read by professionals, cited in conversations, and increasingly parsed by AI agents doing research on People+AI collaboration.

It also did something we definitely did not plan. Along the way, we hit problems no one had solved for yet. The practical, unglamorous problems in how people and AI actually work together, and it turned out solving them for ourselves spun out about a dozen other projects. ObligationFirst came out of that. The PAICE.foundation papers came out of that. Most of the portfolio exists because PAICE.work forced a problem into the open and nothing on the shelf could fix it.

So PAICE.work was the beginning, and it remains a core part of what is now genuinely a PAICE portfolio. For Q3, our focus is the strength of the entire portfolio, not just the original product. A daily cadence built around one product's voice does not fit a portfolio's shape. Two deliberate slots do.

Starting next week, a new rhythm

• Tuesdays are for PAICE.work itself: the assessment, scoring philosophy, what we are learning about how professionals actually collaborate with AI, and product developments.
• Thursdays are for the portfolio and the legal and governance work that grew out of it: ObligationFirst, the paice.foundation papers, the open standards, and the other projects that started as PAICE problems and became things in their own right.

That means three things are pausing:

• The Monday Weekly Update is discontinued for Q3. If you read it every week (and we know some of you did!) thank you, and this is your notice. When there is news that would have gone in a weekly update, it will appear in a Tuesday or Thursday post instead.
• The Friday video is discontinued. Same reasoning, same courtesy. There will still be new videos, though our YouTube Channel is expanding from PAICE.work scope to PAICE.foundation scope, and we don't yet have an established cadence.
• This is the last Wednesday blog post for a while anyway. We'll re-evaluate this and the above decisions come Q4.

Depth over volume

The shift is not just fewer posts. It is a different definition of what a post is.

Every post now ships as a full content unit: the essay itself, a native version built for LinkedIn, a shareable image, and a newsletter edition. The 170-post daily corpus taught us something uncomfortable — strong writing that only lives on the blog rewards the people who already found us and does almost nothing to create new finders no matter the platform. A post that travels is worth more than three posts that don't. Fewer, stronger, built to leave the property.

That takes time per post that a daily cadence never allowed. Twice a week does.

Where the daily energy goes

The obvious question: if we are writing less, what happens to the hours?

They go into the platform itself. Q3's engineering focus is the platform's evidence layer, the substance underneath the assessment rather than the words around it. We will write about that work when it is ready to be written about, on Tuesdays, and not before. One of the recurring themes of this blog has been the difference between a fluent claim and a verified one, and we intend to keep practicing that distinction on ourselves: the work first, the announcement after.

Which is, in the end, the whole logic of this change. A daily post proves you can produce. We did that for nearly 8-months straight. A deliberate post proves you had something worth saying. PAICE scores professionals on exactly that gap. Output that survives scrutiny over volume of interaction, and it would be strange to run our own publishing on the opposite principle.
